Over 600 business transactions at Vietnam International Fair

After 6 days of exciting activities at Kim Thanh Exhibition Center ( Lao Cai city), on the afternoon of November 15, the 23rd Vietnam - China International Trade Fair (Lao Cai) 2023 closed.

According to information from the Organizing Committee, during the Fair, in addition to sales exhibitions and shopping tours, there will also be many activities to connect trade, promote consumption and export products between businesses of the two countries.

Enterprises participating in the Fair have made careful preparations from the preparation and display of products to the promotion and sales stages as well as in trade and connection activities. Many OCOP products of Lao Cai as well as other provinces and cities that meet 3-5 star standards are introduced to consumers.

According to statistics, there were over 600 trade, connection and exchange transactions between Vietnamese and Chinese enterprises, between Lao Cai enterprises and enterprises from provinces and cities in the country.

To date, 109 cooperation agreements and 22 pairs of contracts have been signed. Many enterprises from the Southern provinces have signed agency contracts, export goods transit service contracts with enterprises from Lao Cai province, etc.

During the 6 days, the Fair attracted many customers and consumers in Lao Cai province and neighboring provinces to visit and shop. Sales revenue of businesses reached over 60 billion VND.

During the fair, fire prevention and fighting, security, order and social safety are ensured; disease prevention and fighting, and environmental sanitation are focused on.

Through the fair, companies, enterprises and cooperatives of both sides can promote their brands, connect with each other, cooperate in business, expand markets, distribution systems, and consume products, especially products with strengths of each locality to participate in import and export.
