Vietlott winner of nearly 37 billion VND: My family couldn't sleep all night

(Dan Tri) - A customer who won nearly 37 billion VND in Vietlott said that his family was so happy that they couldn't sleep all night. He received the message on his way home from work.

Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) announced that it recently awarded a prize to a customer, Mr. NVM, who won Jackpot 1 of the Power 6/55 3 lottery with a value of 36.7 billion VND.

Mr. NVM is currently living and doing business in Thanh Hoa province. He said he has been playing Vietlott's lottery products regularly since starting his business in Thanh Hoa. He has a habit of buying about 3-4 lottery tickets every day and randomly choosing numbers. The winning numbers are also the random numbers he chose for that day.

Mr. M. said that on his way home from work, he received a text message about his winnings but did not pay attention to the amount. When he got home, he checked the text message and the winning numbers and found out that he had won Jackpot 1 in the Power 6/55 lottery.

“At that time, I couldn’t contain my emotions because I was so happy, but I didn’t dare to tell my family. It wasn’t until the next morning, when I received the notification on the official fanpage and called the hotline to check, that I officially informed my family. At first, my family didn’t believe it, but after I went up to fill out the documents to receive the award, they believed that the award was real. Everyone in the family was so happy that they couldn’t sleep that night,” said Mr. M.

With the prize money, he said he will take care of his parents' lives, then balance his spending so as not to affect the lives of everyone in the family and spend a portion on social security activities to share luck with the community.

According to regulations, Mr. NVM is obliged to pay personal income tax at the place of registration to participate in the lottery, Thanh Hoa province, with a total value of more than 3.6 billion VND. Thus, the actual amount received by Mr. M. is more than 33 billion VND.
