Rice prices today, December 11th: The market is quiet.

Rice prices in the Mekong Delta region today, December 11, 2025, remained relatively stable.

Regarding rice, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the current price of IR 50404 rice (fresh) ranges from 5,200 to 5,400 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice (fresh) ranges from 5,500 to 5,600 VND/kg; OM 34 rice (fresh) ranges from 5,200 to 5,400 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) ranges from 6,400 to 6,600 VND/kg; and OM 18 rice (fresh) ranges from 6,400 to 6,600 VND/kg, compared to yesterday.

Observations in many localities today indicate that the remaining supply of fresh rice is low, buying and selling transactions remain slow, and prices are stable. In An Giang , farmers are maintaining high prices, while buyers tend to offer lower prices.

In Ca Mau , ST rice continues to be offered in good quantities, mainly ST 25, with little price fluctuation. In Can Tho, Dong Thap, Vinh Long, and Tay Ninh, trading is weak, and prices remain stable.

According to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province and Vietnam Rice, the current price of raw export rice is as follows: OM 5451 rice has decreased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating between 8,150 - 8,300 VND/kg; Soc Thom rice is fluctuating between 7,500 - 7,600 VND/kg; IR 504 rice is fluctuating between 7,550 - 7,650 VND/kg; CL 555 rice is fluctuating between 7,340 - 7,450 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice is fluctuating between 8,700 - 8,900 VND/kg; OM 380 rice is fluctuating between 7,200 - 7,300 VND/kg; and OM 18 rice is fluctuating between 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg. IR 504 finished rice fluctuated at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Regarding by-products, prices range from approximately 7,400 to 10,000 VND/kg. Currently, OM 5451 broken rice is priced at 7,400 - 7,500 VND/kg; and rice bran is priced at 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg, compared to yesterday.

Observations in various localities today show weak trading activity and little fluctuation in rice prices. In An Giang, large warehouses are buying slowly, selecting rice carefully, and prices remain relatively stable. In Can Tho, warehouses are buying fragrant and sticky rice at consistent prices.

In Lap Vo and Sa Dec (Dong Thap province), the prices of all types of rice are relatively stable. In An Cu, Dong Thap province, trading is slow, and rice prices are relatively stable.

At retail markets, the prices of all types of rice remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice is listed highest at 28,000 VND/kg; regular rice fluctuates between 11,000 - 12,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai rice is 22,000 VND/kg; long-grain Thai fragrant rice fluctuates between 20,000 - 22,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa rice is at 21,000 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice is 20,000 VND/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates between 16,000 - 18,000 VND/kg; common white rice is at 16,000 VND/kg; regular Soc rice fluctuates between 16,000 - 17,000 VND/kg; Soc Thai rice is 20,000 VND/kg; and Japanese rice is 22,000 VND/kg.

According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), on the export market, the price of Vietnamese rice for export is currently fluctuating between 420-440 USD/ton for 5% broken fragrant rice; 314-318 USD/ton for 100% broken rice; and 447-451 USD/ton for Jasmine rice.
