Rice prices in the Mekong Delta region today, December 10, 2025, remained relatively stable.

Regarding rice, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province and Vietnam Rice, the current price of OM 5451 export raw rice fluctuates at 8,200 - 8,400 VND/kg; Soc Thom export raw rice decreased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating at 7,500 - 7,600 VND/kg; IR 504 export raw rice fluctuates at 7,550 - 7,650 VND/kg; CL 555 export raw rice fluctuates at 7,340 - 7,450 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice fluctuates at 8,700 - 8,900 VND/kg; OM 380 export raw rice fluctuates at 7,200 - 7,300 VND/kg; and OM 18 export raw rice fluctuates at 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg. The price of finished IR 504 rice ranges from 9,500 to 9,700 VND/kg.

Regarding by-products, the prices of by-products fluctuate from 7,400 - 10,000 VND/kg. Currently, OM 5451 broken rice fluctuates at 7,400 - 7,500 VND/kg; bran prices fluctuate at 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Observations in various localities today show low trading activity and little fluctuation in rice prices. In An Giang , most large warehouses are still buying slowly, prioritizing OM 5451 and OM 18 varieties, with little change in prices for all types of rice. In Can Tho, warehouses are buying mainly fragrant and sticky rice, with relatively stable prices.

In Lap Vo and Sa Dec ( Dong Thap province ), the supply is low, and the prices of all types of rice remain stable. In An Cu, Dong Thap province, buying activity is sluggish, and rice prices are relatively stable.

At retail markets, rice prices of all kinds remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND11,000 - 12,000/kg; Huong Lai rice at VND22,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice at VND21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice at VND20,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice at VND16,000/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 17,000/kg; Soc Thai rice at VND20,000/kg; Japanese rice at VND22,000/kg.

Similarly, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the current price of fresh IR 50404 rice ranges from 5,200 to 5,400 VND/kg; fresh OM 5451 rice ranges from 5,500 to 5,600 VND/kg; fresh OM 34 rice ranges from 5,200 to 5,400 VND/kg; fresh Dai Thom 8 rice ranges from 6,400 to 6,600 VND/kg; and fresh OM 18 rice ranges from 6,400 to 6,600 VND/kg.

Observations in many localities today indicate that the remaining supply of fresh rice is low, trading is slow, and prices remain stable. In An Giang, farmers are maintaining high prices, new transactions are weak, and prices are showing little fluctuation.

In Ca Mau, ST rice continues to be offered in good quantities, mainly ST 25, at high prices, with limited supply. In Dong Thap, new transactions are few and prices are stagnant. In Can Tho, Vinh Long, and Tay Ninh, prices remain stable.

According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), on the export market, the price of Vietnamese rice for export is currently fluctuating between 420-440 USD/ton for 5% broken fragrant rice; 314-318 USD/ton for 100% broken rice; and 447-451 USD/ton for Jasmine rice.
