Domestic rice price today December 8
The rice market on December 8, 2025 still has no new changes in both rice and paddy products.
Rice price today (December 8) remains stable, low supply, slow trading.
- IR 50404 rice (fresh) is priced around 5,100 - 5,300 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice (fresh) is traded at 5,400 - 5,600 VND/kg; OM 18 rice (fresh) is priced at 6,400 - 6,600 VND/kg;
- OM 380 rice (fresh) is around 5,700 - 5,900 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 rice is priced at 6,000 - 6,200 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) is fluctuating around 6,400 - 6,600 VND/kg.
- The price of IR 4625 sticky rice (fresh) is at 7,300 - 7,500 VND/kg; while IR 4625 sticky rice (dried) is at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg. The price of 3-month-old dry sticky rice is trading around 9,600 - 9,700 VND/kg.

Rice prices today (December 8) remain stable, with limited trading.
- The price of raw rice IR 50404 is at 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg; finished rice IR 50404 is at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg;
- The price of raw rice OM 5451 fluctuates at 8,000 - 8,300 VND/kg; while raw rice OM 18 costs 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg.
- Raw rice OM 380 is priced at 7,200 - 7,300 VND/kg; finished rice OM 380 is priced at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, finished rice CL 555 is priced at 7,340 - 7,450 VND/kg.
- The price of IR 504 raw rice fluctuates at 7,550 - 7,650 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuates at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg. The price of Soc Det raw rice is 7,300 - 7,450 VND/kg. The price of Dai Thom 8 rice is traded around 8,700 - 8,900 VND/kg.
- Sticky rice price is 21,000 - 22,000 VND/kg; Regular rice is at 11,000 - 12,000 VND/kg; Nang Nhen rice is priced at 28,000 VND/kg.
- The price of long grain fragrant rice is 20,000 - 22,000 VND/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice is 16,000 - 17,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai rice remains at 22,000 VND/kg.
- The purchase price of common white rice is 16,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa rice is 21,000 VND/kg; Soc Thuong rice is 16,000 - 17,000 VND/kg; and Soc Thai rice is 20,000 VND/kg.
- Taiwanese fragrant rice is currently priced at 20,000 VND/kg; while Japanese rice is currently priced at 22,000 VND/kg.
For by-products, the price of fragrant rice bran is at 7,400 - 7,500 VND/kg, the price of bran is at 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg.
In the export market, Vietnamese rice prices remain unchanged. Accordingly, 100% broken rice is priced at 314 - 318 USD/ton; 5% broken rice is purchased at 420 - 440 USD/ton; and Jasmine rice is priced at 447 - 451 USD/ton.
Thus, the price of rice today, December 8, 2025, continues to remain unchanged compared to yesterday.
BAF Vietnam supports flood victims in the Central Highlands and North Central regions
After the strong storms, Dak Lak, Gia Lai and Lam Dong provinces suffered heavy losses in terms of lives, houses, transport infrastructure and agriculture , with property damage estimated at thousands of billions of VND. In this context, relief teams continuously followed each other, carrying the spirit of sharing, helping people overcome difficulties.
Recently, a working group of BAF Vietnam Company directly went with the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the local police, bringing more than 100 tons of clean Aan rice to deliver directly to people in flooded areas. Of which, 10 tons of rice were sent to areas near BAF farms, where many households were isolated and lacking food.
The practical gifts have helped people overcome the difficult period, with many expressing their emotions when receiving rice, the most important gift at this time. Local representatives also sent their thanks to BAF and A An for their timely support, reducing the pressure on relief work. Previously, BAF donated more than 130 tons of Aan rice and 2,100 boxes of 3T instant sausages to the provinces affected by storms No. 10-11, with a total value of more than 4 billion VND.
