Regarding rice, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province and Vietnamese Rice, currently, OM 5451 raw rice for export decreased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating at 8,100 - 8,300 VND/kg; Soc Det raw rice for export decreased by 350 VND/kg, fluctuating at 7,300 - 7,450 VND; IR 504 raw rice for export fluctuated at 7,550 - 7,650 VND/kg; CL 555 raw rice for export fluctuated at 7,340 - 7,450 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice fluctuated at 8,700 - 8,900 VND/kg; OM 380 raw rice for export fluctuated at 7,200 - 7,300 VND/kg; Export raw rice OM 18 fluctuates at 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg; finished rice IR 504 fluctuates at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Regarding by-products, the prices of by-products fluctuate from 7,400 - 10,000 VND/kg. Currently, OM 5451 broken rice fluctuates at 7,400 - 7,500 VND/kg; bran prices fluctuate at 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Recorded in localities today, buying and selling transactions are steady, prices of all types of rice fluctuate little. In Can Tho, warehouses still ask to buy fragrant and sticky rice, at stable prices. In An Giang , large warehouses buy regularly, choose rice with OM 5451, OM 18, prices of all types of rice fluctuate little.

In Lap Vo, Sa Dec ( Dong Thap ), the quantity of imported rice is sporadically, the price of all types of rice is stable. In An Cu - Dong Thap, white rice is purchased regularly, other types of rice are purchased sporadically, the price of rice fluctuates little.

At retail markets, rice prices of all kinds remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND11,000 - 12,000/kg; Huong Lai rice at VND22,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice at VND21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice at VND20,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice at VND16,000/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 17,000/kg; Soc Thai rice at VND20,000/kg; Japanese rice at VND22,000/kg.

In many localities today, buying and selling transactions are slow, buyers mainly take rice that has been deposited. In Ca Mau, farmers are offering to sell rice slowly, prices are stable. In An Giang, farmers continue to hold high prices, buying and selling transactions are slow, prices are stable.

In Dong Thap, Can Tho, Vinh Long, Tay Ninh, the rice harvest is still low, the demand for fragrant and sticky rice is quite good, and the price fluctuates little.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the current price of 5% broken fragrant rice fluctuates between 420 and 440 USD/ton; 100% broken rice fluctuates between 314 and 318 USD/ton; and Jasmine rice fluctuates between 447 and 451 USD/ton.
