Regarding rice, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province and Lua Rice Viet, currently, IR 504 export raw rice fluctuates at 7,550 - 7,650 VND/kg; CL 555 export raw rice fluctuates at 7,200 - 7,300 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice fluctuates at 8,700 - 8,900 VND/kg; OM 380 export raw rice fluctuates at 7,200 - 7,300 VND/kg; Soc Det export raw rice fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,800 VND; OM 5451 export raw rice fluctuates at 7,950 - 8,100 VND/kg; OM 18 export raw rice fluctuates at 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuated at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg compared to the weekend.

Regarding by-products, the prices of by-products fluctuate from 7,400 - 10,000 VND/kg. Currently, fragrant rice bran has increased by 50 VND/kg, fluctuating at 7,450 - 7,550 VND/kg; the price of bran fluctuates at 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

In localities today, purchasing power is weak, some warehouses have stopped buying, rice prices of all kinds fluctuate little. In An Giang , purchasing warehouses are still slow, buying and selling transactions are sporadic, rice prices of all kinds are stable.

In Lap Vo, Sa Dec ( Dong Thap ), in terms of small quantity, rice of all kinds is relatively stable. In An Cu - Dong Thap, white rice is bought regularly, other types of rice are bought and sold weakly, prices of rice of all kinds fluctuate little.

At retail markets, rice prices of all kinds are the same as yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of 28,000 VND/kg; regular rice fluctuates at 11,000 - 12,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000 VND/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at 20,000 - 22,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa rice at 21,000 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 20,000 VND/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at 17,000 - 18,000 VND/kg; common white rice at 16,000 VND/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates at 16,000 - 17,000 VND/kg; Soc Thai rice is 20,000 VND/kg; Japanese rice is 22,000 VND/kg.

Similar to rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the current price of IR 50404 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 5,100 - 5,200 VND/kg; the price of Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 5,600 - 5,700 VND/kg; the price of OM 18 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 5,600 - 5,700 VND/kg; the price of OM 5451 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 5,200 - 5,300 VND/kg, compared to yesterday.

In many localities today, there is little rice left, trading is quiet, and prices are stable. In An Giang, farmers in Hon Dat and Miet Thu areas have kept prices stable, and trading is low.

In Dong Thap and Tay Ninh, rice in the fields has dried up, the demand for fragrant and sticky rice is quite good, prices are stable. In Can Tho and Vinh Long, buying and selling transactions are weak, prices of fresh rice are relatively stable.

In the export market, according to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the current price of 5% broken fragrant rice ranges from 420 - 440 USD/ton; 100% broken rice ranges from 314 - 318 USD/ton; and Jasmine rice ranges from 447 - 451 USD/ton.
