Regarding rice, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province and Lua Gao Viet, currently Dai Thom 8 rice fluctuates at 8,600 - 8,900 VND/kg; OM 380 raw rice fluctuates at 7,200 - 7,300 VND/kg; Soc Det raw rice fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,800 VND/kg; IR 504 raw rice fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,700 VND/kg; OM 5451 raw rice fluctuates at 7,950 - 8,100 VND/kg; CL 555 raw rice fluctuates at 7,600 - 7,800 VND/kg; OM 18 raw rice fluctuates at 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuated at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Regarding by-products, the prices of by-products fluctuate from 7,400 - 10,000 VND/kg. Currently, OM 5451 broken rice fluctuates at 7,400 - 7,500 VND/kg; bran prices fluctuate at 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Recorded in localities today, buying and selling transactions continue to be slow, rice prices of all kinds fluctuate little. In An Giang , buying and selling transactions are weak, rice prices of all kinds are stable.

In Lap Vo, Sa Dec ( Dong Thap ), the quantity is quite good, the price of rice of all kinds fluctuates little. In An Cu - Dong Thap, the buying and selling transactions are moderate, the price of rice of all kinds is relatively stable.

At retail markets, the prices of rice of all kinds remained the same compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of 28,000 VND/kg; regular rice fluctuates at 11,000 - 12,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000 VND/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at 20,000 - 22,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa rice is at 21,000 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 20,000 VND/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at 17,000 - 18,000 VND/kg; common white rice is at 16,000 VND/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates at 16,000 - 17,000 VND/kg; Soc Thai rice is 20,000 VND/kg; Japanese rice is 22,000 VND/kg.

In many localities today, the source of rice harvested at the end of the field is still low, buying and selling transactions are sporadic, prices are stable. In Tay Ninh, rice in the field has dried up, farmers offer stable prices, traders ask to buy less, prices are relatively stable.

In An Giang, new purchase demand is weak, fragrant rice is still scarce in Hon Dat and coastal areas, prices are stable. In Dong Thap, Can Tho, Vinh Long, buying and selling transactions are weak, rice prices fluctuate little.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the current price of 5% broken fragrant rice ranges from 415 to 430 USD/ton; 100% broken rice ranges from 314 to 317 USD/ton; and Jasmine rice ranges from 478 to 482 USD/ton.
