Among the people who stopped by the reception point, some brought a few kilos of sugar, a few sets of clothes; some sent large boxes of necessities, even filling their cars to be delivered in time. All were received with respect and gratitude, because “a little from each person adds up to a lot” to share with our compatriots who are struggling in the storm and flood.

All have one heart towards the flood victims.

Continuously bringing hundreds of gifts to the people, Ms. Nguyen Thao in An Xuyen ward shared: "Happiness is being able to contribute a small part to help others during the storm and flood. I hope that the people will be resilient to overcome difficulties, because as long as there are people, there is property. Life will soon stabilize again, the people of Ca Mau will always look to the people."

Each person, each task, urgently and quickly so that each gift can be delivered on time to families in need.

Not only the people, the Traffic Police Department, Ca Mau Provincial Police also joined this activity. With more than 500 gifts mobilized and packaged, officers and soldiers contributed to timely support for people in flood-affected areas .

Each gift box carries a message of love and hope for people in flood-affected areas.

Thanks to the community's cooperation, up to now, from the receiving point at Ca Phe Mau, two trucks full of goods have been transported to Phu Yen province. Currently, volunteers are urgently packing to prepare for the next two trips, scheduled to depart tonight (November 28).

Ms. Le Kieu Phuong, owner of Mau Coffee Shop, shared: "What makes me and many volunteers worry is not only helping people have food and water during the days of raging floods, but also hoping that these gifts will become a source of encouragement for them to soon stabilize their spirits and overcome difficulties and losses."

The first two trips carried the love, care and sharing of Ca Mau people to the flood victims in Phu Yen.

“I hope people can rebuild their lives soon after the flood. After the storm, everyone needs to start cleaning their houses and making a living. If these small gifts help our people ease their difficulties, that will be the greatest happiness for us,” Ms. Phuong confided.

The gifts continuously sent in the past week show that the spirit of solidarity and affection of Ca Mau people is always promoted whenever their compatriots are in trouble. This activity not only has the meaning of material support but also spreads affection and community responsibility; shows the hearts of Ca Mau people with the wish "the storm will pass, the flood will recede, and the people will be safe".
