Regarding rice, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province and Lua Rice Viet, currently, raw rice for export OM 5451 fluctuates at 8,000 - 8,300 VND/kg; raw rice for export Soc Det fluctuates at 7,300 - 7,450 VND; raw rice for export IR 504 fluctuates at 7,550 - 7,650 VND/kg; raw rice for export CL 555 fluctuates at 7,340 - 7,450 VND/kg; rice for export Dai Thom 8 fluctuates at 8,700 - 8,900 VND/kg; raw rice for export OM 380 fluctuates at 7,200 - 7,300 VND/kg; raw rice for export OM 18 fluctuates at 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuated at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg compared to the weekend.

Regarding by-products, the price of by-products fluctuates from 7,400 - 10,000 VND/kg. Currently, OM 5451 broken rice fluctuates at 7,400 - 7,500 VND/kg; bran price fluctuates at 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg compared to the weekend.

Recorded in localities today, buying and selling transactions are quiet, prices of rice of all kinds fluctuate little. In Can Tho, warehouses still ask to buy fragrant and sticky rice, prices are stable. In An Giang , large warehouses buy little, choose rice with OM 5451, OM 18, prices of rice of all kinds fluctuate little.

In Lap Vo, Sa Dec ( Dong Thap ), the quantity is small, rice of all kinds fluctuates little. In An Cu - Dong Thap, buying transactions are sporadic, rice prices fluctuate little.

At retail markets, rice prices of all kinds are the same as at the weekend. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND11,000 - 12,000/kg; Huong Lai rice at VND22,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice at VND21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice at VND20,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice at VND16,000/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 17,000/kg; Soc Thai rice at VND20,000/kg; Japanese rice at VND22,000/kg.

In many localities today, sources are low, buying and selling are slow, prices are stable. In Dong Thap, transactions are slow, traders are slow to buy, causing prices to decrease. In Ca Mau, farmers are offering rice for sale slowly, prices fluctuate little.

In An Giang, ST rice farmers' offers increased, other types remained high, however, purchasing power was moderate, traders paid low. In Can Tho, Vinh Long, Tay Ninh, the rice harvest was still low, demand for buying and selling was slow, prices fluctuated little.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained stable compared to the end of the week. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the current price of 5% broken fragrant rice fluctuates between 420 and 440 USD/ton; 100% broken rice fluctuates between 314 and 318 USD/ton; and Jasmine rice fluctuates between 447 and 451 USD/ton.
