Associate Professor, Dr. Ta Minh Tuan said: The exhibition area will introduce the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, the country's leading research institution in social sciences and humanities.

Thereby introducing the typical social science achievements that the Institute has achieved in the past 72 years since its establishment in fields such as history, literature, archaeology, ethnology, religion, sociology, linguistics, sustainable development, politics , economics, culture - society...

Specifically, the Academy's outstanding achievements and contributions are demonstrated through the number of research projects that have won the Ho Chi Minh Prize and the State Prize; many pioneering studies, providing scientific arguments for the Party and State to plan policies and guidelines for economic and social development, ensuring national defense, security and sovereignty , international integration, etc.

Many scientists have been honored with street names, including 17 leading social scientists of the Academy who have had streets and roads named after them in many provinces and cities across the country. The exhibition has a lively experience area: Writing and giving calligraphy; instructing, practicing printing and giving Dong Ho paintings; instructing on making fans, painting and giving silk fans... to highlight the application and talent of the Academy's scientists.

How can visitors learn about the development of Vietnamese social sciences through historical periods at the exhibition space, sir?

- The development process of Vietnamese social sciences is vividly demonstrated through documents, artifacts, research works, historical films, reportage films, artifacts, vivid images... about the outstanding social science achievements of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences over the past 72 years.

The exhibition space is arranged according to the historical flow from the origin, nation building, integration and spreading the image of Vietnam, Vietnamese culture and the value of Vietnamese people to the world, including three sub-areas. In which, sub-area one: Decoding the history - origin of Vietnamese culture: Throughout the development journey; sub-area two: Creation - development; sub-area three: International integration - Raising the national status.

Could you tell us some of the Institute's outstanding works in recent years?

- Throughout its development, the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences has always been proud to be a pioneer in providing solid scientific arguments for the Party and State in the fields of politics, economics, culture and society, contributing significantly to the formation of viewpoints, guidelines and strategic breakthrough policy planning, thereby promoting the rapid and sustainable development of the country, creating social stability, ensuring security and national defense.

Scientific arguments of high practical value such as anti-inflation and economic innovation, industrialization, shortened modernization, knowledge economy, regional economy, inclusive development, circular economy, etc., policy consulting, meeting the requirements of sustainable national development, improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

The work The Vietnam War and the American Economy by Professor Dao Van Tap has a remarkable contribution in convincingly proving why the rich and powerful United States could not subdue Vietnam. The reason for America's failure lies in one of America's fundamental areas, which is the economy.

In the digital age, what technology does the Institute's exhibition area apply to attract visitors?

- Implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, digital transformation is one of the key goals of the Academy in the coming period. Although it is a social science and humanities sector, the Academy has a very clear orientation in digital transformation work in the next five years, which is to invest heavily in digital transformation so that the Academy can truly become a digital application agency, achieving the great goal of smart governance and performing tasks in the digital environment.

This is an extremely important goal to help develop the Institute's tasks in a breakthrough way. Currently, the Academy is strengthening the construction of a digital database system and shared digital platforms to serve leadership, management, scientific research, magazines, publishing, information, libraries, training, etc. in the direction of digital transformation, applying artificial intelligence. Implementing electronic publishing, developing exhibition forms in virtual space, providing information services, online libraries, etc.

At the exhibition booth, modern technologies are used to introduce and display artifacts, images, etc. to attract attention, stimulate vision, and enhance the experience of visitors. Typically, historical documents and artifacts will be displayed and displayed using modern and unique technologies such as recreating images of artifacts from historical periods, and performing using vivid 3D mapping projection technology. In addition, social science achievements are built into historical documentaries and reports through videos shown on multiple screens in many sections, and shown on large LED screens...

Through exhibitions, how can we create opportunities for cooperation between scientists, research organizations, the public and internationally, sir?

- The exhibition space helps to promote, promote foreign affairs, and promote the image of the country and people of Vietnam. This is an opportunity for scientists, managers, agencies, and organizations at home and abroad to enhance international exchanges and cooperation; promote exchanges, share experiences, improve research levels, expand knowledge of social sciences and humanities to keep up with the world, strengthen cooperation in the field of social sciences, and affirm Vietnam's position in the region and the world.
