The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued a plan to implement the Project on developing reading culture in the community in Tay Ninh province by 2025.

Accordingly, the province continues to maintain the goal of building and developing a reading culture in the community, especially among youth, teenagers, students; improving the reading environment; contributing to improving people's knowledge, developing thinking, creativity, nurturing personality and soul, enhancing awareness of law compliance, forming a civilized and healthy lifestyle among cadres, teachers, employees and students, and promoting the building of a learning society.

The province focuses on improving the operational efficiency of the library network, innovating service methods in and outside the library, enhancing the application of information and communication technology, promoting the provision of services on cyberspace for users anytime, anywhere; organizing book and newspaper service activities in diverse forms, suitable to the actual situation in the locality and unit; organizing book and newspaper exhibitions to serve the learning, research and entertainment needs of the people.

Continue to promote information and propaganda work to raise awareness of sectors, levels, communities and everyone about the role of reading; increase sharing, exploitation and common use of existing information resources in the public library system to develop a reading culture.
