Deploying legal documents in management and use of public assets

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On June 18, the Ministry of Finance held a conference in person and online with localities to deploy legal documents in the field of management and use of public assets.

Attending the conference at Thanh Hoa province bridge point were comrade Nguyen Van Thi, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of relevant Departments, branches, and the Office of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the conference, delegates were introduced to the main content of the legal document on the decentralization of authority of local authorities at two levels in the field of state management of the Ministry of Finance ; decentralization of state management authority in the field of management and use of public assets; standards and norms for the use of machinery and equipment; management and use of public vehicles, offices...; main content of Circular No. 36/2025/TT-BTC dated June 12, 2025 amending and supplementing a number of articles in the Circulars of the Minister of Finance.

The conference introduced the Government's decrees detailing a number of articles of the Law on Management and Use of Public Assets, including: Decree No. 155/2025/ND-CP dated June 16, 2025 stipulating standards and norms for the use of offices and public service establishments; Decree No. 153/2025/ND-CP dated June 15, 2025 amending and supplementing Decree No. 72/2023/ND-CP stipulating standards and norms for the use of automobiles; Decision No. 15/2025/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister stipulating standards, norms and norms for the use of machinery and equipment.

Given the importance of the documents, the leaders of the Ministry of Finance requested localities to synchronously and seriously implement the new regulations in the context that the whole country is implementing the 2-level local government model and strengthening financial discipline.

Localities need to proactively review and update documents and provide guidance to staff working in public asset management to ensure proper implementation of legal regulations.

The conference aims to help all levels, sectors, agencies and units clearly understand the new regulations and points of the Law on Management and Use of Public Assets (amended and supplemented) and related legal documents to effectively organize the management, use and exploitation of public assets, meeting the socio-economic development needs of each locality.
