Exhibition of OCOP export products from October 31 to November 4

Accordingly, Director of the Trade Promotion Agency ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) Vu Ba Phu said that from October 31 to November 4, 2024, at Vinhomes Ocean Park 3 Urban Area, Hung Yen province, an exhibition of OCOP export products will take place. The exhibition scale has 250 booths, for more than 150 enterprises with 3-star, 4-star, 5-star OCOP products (One Commune One Product Program) to display and promote products.

The purpose of the exhibition is to promote the export of goods, support Vietnamese enterprises to directly export key products and OCOP products with national advantages to foreign distribution networks; participate deeply in the global value chain. The exhibition also aims to introduce and create connections between OCOP entities and foreign enterprises as well as foreign representative agencies and trade promotion organizations in Vietnam. This is a playground for 4-star and 5-star OCOP products that meet Vietnam's export standards. Through that, it will widely promote to international distribution channels and importers about Vietnam - a rich and diverse source of high-quality OCOP products, meeting international standards, the needs and requirements of distribution channels around the world ...

At the introduction, Deputy Chief of the Central Office for New Rural Area Coordination ( Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development ) Phuong Dinh Anh added that the country currently has 14,085 OCOP products and mainly 3-star OCOP products, while 4-star OCOP products account for more than 25%, 5-star OCOP products only have 46 products. For exported OCOP products, the Organizing Committee hopes that the products will be exported on the spot (international visitors can come to buy - visit, experience the products on the spot and buy). Exporting through "hand-carried" - through tourism is the desire of the exhibition program. This is a nationwide activity, specialized, creating highlights and will be an annual activity of ministries and branches to connect products.
