Exhibition of national achievements before "G hour"
Preparations for the National Achievements Exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) with the theme "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" taking place at the National Exhibition Fair Center, Dong Anh Commune (Hanoi) have been basically completed. The exhibition is open to the public and visitors free of charge from August 28 to September 5.

The National Exhibition and Fair Center is the largest exhibition complex in Southeast Asia, ranked in the Top 10 largest exhibition complexes in the world. The project is not only a place to introduce and connect Vietnamese businesses with international friends, but is also expected to create a driving force for the development of the “Expo” economy - an economic model associated with large-scale exhibitions, fairs and events. The exhibition of national achievements with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" is one of the first important events held here after the inauguration ceremony of the project on August 19, 2025. The exhibition space “80 Years of Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness” uses the entire indoor and outdoor areas of the center. The Organizing Committee has arranged the exhibition space in a centripetal direction. Accordingly, the center of the exhibition hall is arranged as a space to recreate major events, historical milestones, and achievements of the country under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam through the periods with the theme "95 years of the Party flag lighting the way". Towards the center, the exhibition space "95 years of the Party flag lighting the way" is divided into 9 halls. The main hall is managed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism , displaying the theme "Vietnam - Country - People" including images of Vietnamese culture, art, nature and people. The central hall with the theme "95 years of the Party flag lighting the way" recreates historical milestones from 1930 to present. Halls 1 and 8 with the theme "Building for Development" are the exhibition spaces of 25 units including the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the National Assembly Office, the Party Central Committee Office; ministries, departments, branches, ministerial-level agencies, and government agencies. Space to display documents on national defense and security. Halls 5, 6, 7 are exhibition spaces of 34 provinces and centrally-run cities with the theme "Rich provinces, strong country". Hall No. 2 with the theme "Economic locomotives" displays the development achievements of state-owned enterprises which are the economic locomotives of Vietnam. Halls 3 and 4 with the theme "Start-up and Nation Building" display the achievements of typical private enterprises and national brand enterprises, expressing the aspiration to build a prosperous and strong country. Basic items completed from design, content building, construction of exhibition space... The space introduces the APEC Conference to be held in Vietnam in 2027. The content is presented in many diverse forms: panels, photos, drawings, documents, artifacts combined with modern technology. The second area is an outdoor exhibition consisting of the following courtyards: East, West, South, and North. The South courtyard has an area of 45,000m2 , and is managed by the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security with the theme “Sword and Shield”. The 23,000m2 West Court has the theme "Aspiration for the Sky"; displaying aerospace products, flight maps, aircraft models, satellites... demonstrating the vision and contributions of the Aerospace industry. The East Stadium has an area of 41,000m2 , including introduction, exhibition, fair, culinary, entertainment and experiential activities registered by agencies, units and localities with the theme "National Festival". The 46,000m2 North Stadium is a space for performing arts programs. The exhibition is open to the public and visitors free of charge from August 28 to September 5, opening hours are from 8am to 10pm daily.

The opening ceremony will be held at 9:00 a.m. on August 28; it will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television and Voice of Vietnam.
August 29: Forum “Application of artificial intelligence AI in the digital age”; workshop “The role of data in the digital age” chaired by the Ministry of Science and Technology; art program chaired by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee at the North Stadium.
August 30: 8:00 p.m., art program hosted by the Ministry of Public Security at the North Stadium.
August 31: 8:00 p.m., art program "Hanoi - Forever Vietnam's Aspiration" hosted by Hanoi People's Committee at North Stadium.
September 1: Performances, tours, and art exchanges in provinces and cities.
September 2: 8:00 p.m., art program hosted by Hue City People's Committee.
September 3: Performances, tours, and art exchanges in provinces and cities.
September 4: 9:00 a.m., Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City Business Forum chaired by Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
The closing ceremony will take place at 8:00 p.m. on September 5, 2025 at the North Stadium with the art program “80 Years - The Road to Glory”. The program will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television and Voice of Vietnam.
