The Provincial Cultural Center and the Department of Culture and Sports have just organized an exhibition of large-scale propaganda paintings to promote the protection of Vietnam's seas and islands.

The exhibition introduces 58 propaganda paintings including 30 two-sided box panels on the theme of Vietnam's seas and islands selected from the Propaganda Painting Creation Contest launched by the Department of Grassroots Culture, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism . Through the propaganda paintings, the aim is to propagate to the people of all ethnic groups in Quang Ninh province the viewpoints and policies of the Party, policies and laws of the State, and international laws on seas and islands.

At the same time, raise awareness among cadres, party members, armed forces, people, especially the young generation, about the Party's policies and viewpoints, the State's laws on the protection of seas and islands; the position and role of seas and islands in the cause of national construction and protection and socio-economic development; arouse patriotism, national pride, awareness of protecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Fatherland; contribute to fighting and refuting the distorted views and arguments of hostile forces on the sovereignty of seas and islands. Along with that, raise awareness among all classes of people about protecting the marine and island environment and marine resources.

The exhibition will last until November 15 at the flagpole yard in front of the Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace.
