Eliminate electronic cigarette trading location suspected of smuggling drugs

Some new generation electronic cigarette brands were purchased by Tuan from social networks and consumed in Binh Duong .

Previously, on April 27, through the work of checking and grasping the area, Thuan An City Police discovered that Pham Thanh Tuan (born in 2002, from Dak Lak ), temporarily residing in Viet Sing Residential Area, Hoa Lan 2 Quarter, Thuan Giao Ward, was operating an electronic cigarette business with signs of smuggling narcotics for consumption to qualified business establishments (karaoke, bars, etc.). Immediately, the City Police deployed professional activities, investigated, verified, and identified the subject who purchased electronic cigarettes via social networks from the Northern provinces for consumption in Binh Duong.

Through administrative inspection, police discovered that Pham Thanh Tuan was selling 1,440 electronic cigarettes of 11 types, including the following brands: TURBO DRUM, WALKIE, KAMRY, ASHOK, LAVIE, ATUS, BOLT, MIOU, PUFS...

Tuan confessed that he bought the above mentioned quantity of electronic cigarettes through social networks and had them delivered by express delivery to the northern provinces and cities. He then sold these products on Facebook.

A representative of the Thuan An City Police also said that the City Police had requested the Criminal Science Institute of the Ministry of Public Security to determine the content and organize activities to verify the identity and background of the suspect, and at the same time expand the investigation to clarify the supply and sale of electronic cigarettes that are smuggled with drugs to serve as a basis for handling the case.
