North Korea launches nuclear-powered tactical attack submarine

On September 8, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said that the country launched a new tactical nuclear attack submarine on September 6.

The submarine is capable of carrying out underwater nuclear attacks. North Korean leader Kim Jong-un attended the submarine's launch ceremony and announced plans to build nuclear-powered submarines.
