(Baothanhhoa.vn) - The Criminal Police Department, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police has just arrested Nguyen Van Dinh (born in 2003, in Hai Binh ward, Nghi Son town) as the perpetrator who stole 4.2 taels of gold and 16 million VND in cash.

Previously, on June 14, Hai Binh Ward Police, Nghi Son Town received a report from a resident that a thief had broken into a house, broken open a safe, and stolen 4.2 taels of gold and 16 million VND in cash.

The Criminal Police Department, Provincial Police Department has coordinated with professional departments and Hai Binh Ward Police, Nghi Son Town to organize crime scene investigation, collect evidence, conduct investigation, trace and clarify the case.

On June 17, the police identified and arrested Nguyen Van Dinh, the perpetrator of the above theft.

At the police station, Nguyen Van Dinh admitted to his crime. Dinh hid the stolen property and used part of the cash for personal expenses.

Currently, the Criminal Police Department, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police have recovered the gold that Dinh hid on the roof of the cultural house of the Hai Ha resettlement area, in Hai Binh ward, Nghi Son town.
