(Baoquangngai.vn) - The People's Committee of Quang Ngai City has just organized a program to display OCOP products and typical products of Quang Ngai City in 2024.
The opening ceremony was held on the evening of December 28 in Tinh Khe commune (Quang Ngai city). At the program, 22 communes and wards participated in displaying a variety of OCOP products of their localities and units. This is also an opportunity for localities and units to exchange, connect, and share experiences of OCOP products in Quang Ngai city. The products have clear origins, labels, traceability, and ensure food hygiene and safety according to regulations.

Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai City People's Committee Nguyen Lam said that up to now, the city has had 58 products achieving OCOP. Of which, 4 products achieved 4 stars and 54 products achieved 3 stars. In the coming time, Quang Ngai City will continue to develop OCOP products based on the strengths and advantages of local materials, culture and indigenous knowledge, focusing on specialties, products, and craft village products.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai City also announced the decision to recognize the results of the assessment, classification and granting of 3-star OCOP product certificates for the first phase of 2024 with 8 products of 5 entities. Including: Ms. Sang's Ly Son fish cake in An Ky village, Tinh Ky commune (with 2 products: Ms. Sang's fried fish cake and Ms. Sang's red fish cake); Han Le's bird's nest in Pho Trung village, Nghia An commune (with 2 products: Han Le's refined bird's nest fibers and Han Le's super-fiber bird's nest); Phuoc An fish sauce in Hien Luong village, Nghia Ha commune (with 2 products: Phuoc An dipping sauce and Phuoc An fish sauce); Sung Tich herbal jam in Tang Long village, Tinh Long commune (product: Mother Thuy's hometown jam); Phuoc Yen's mirror candy, at 267 Tran Hung Dao street, Tran Phu ward (product: Phuoc Yen's mirror candy).
The program is held over 2 days (December 28 and 29).
