The Central Government adds 500 billion VND for Da Nang to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14D

The Prime Minister has just issued Decision No. 1556/QD-TTg on assigning additional development investment expenditure estimates and public investment plans from the central budget in 2025 from the increased central budget revenue in 2024 to ministries, central agencies and localities.

According to the decision, an additional VND 33,680 billion in the estimated development investment expenditure and the central budget public investment plan in 2025 from the increased central budget revenue in 2024 will be assigned to ministries, central agencies and localities.

Of which, Da Nang city was supplemented with 500 billion VND to carry out a new project starting in the period of 2021 - 2025, which is to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14D through Quang Nam province (old).

The Prime Minister requested ministries, central and local agencies to manage and use the additional capital and funds for the right purposes, right subjects and in accordance with the provisions of the State Budget Law, the Law on Public Investment and relevant legal provisions; use the capital to increase the central budget revenue in 2024 to invest in projects to ensure quality and progress; implement projects in accordance with the provisions of law; ensure efficiency and savings, and prevent loss, waste, corruption and negativity.

Time for implementation and disbursement of capital for public investment plans from central budget sources shall comply with regulations.
