At the end of 2021, Binh Yen commune only achieved 13/19 criteria for new rural construction, infrastructure, medical equipment, schools are still very difficult, average income per capita reached 17.1 million VND/person/year... Through understanding and requesting support from the province, the Central Association of War Veterans decided to support Binh Yen commune for the period 2022-2025 with the following contents: Support for building village cultural houses, building houses for members in difficult circumstances, supplementing equipment for medical stations, schools, cultural houses...
After nearly 3 years of implementation, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association has mobilized support from agencies, units, and businesses inside and outside the military with more than 9 billion VND in cash and in kind. Up to now, 4 village cultural houses have been completed, 44 houses for veterans, policy families, and the poor have been supported with 80 million VND/house, and a 200m rural road has been completed...

With the active support and assistance of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association, along with close coordination with local Party committees, authorities and people, Binh Yen commune has completed 19/19 criteria for new rural construction and was recognized by the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province as meeting new rural standards in May 2025.
Speaking at the program, Comrade Hoang Viet Phuong thanked the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association for their affection and support for the people of Binh Yen commune in particular and the people of all ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province in general. He hoped to continue receiving the attention, sharing and support of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association to improve the material and spiritual life of the people.
In the coming time, Binh Yen commune, Luong Thien commune, Minh Thanh commune will merge into Minh Thanh commune. The Vice Chairman requested the Party Committee and government of Minh Thanh commune after the merger to stabilize soon and operate effectively and efficiently from July 1, 2025; continue to mobilize resources, organizations, individuals, and philanthropists to join hands to care for and pay attention to social security work, improve the material and spiritual life of the people.
Delegates attended the inauguration and handover of the Veterans' House of Gratitude to member Nguyen Danh Hai, Binh Dan village, Binh Yen commune (Son Duong).
Previously, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association inaugurated and handed over the “Veterans’ House of Gratitude” to member Nguyen Danh Hai, Binh Dan village, Binh Yen commune. The house, which started construction in April with an area of nearly 100 square meters, has now been completed and put into use with a total cost of 400 million VND, of which the Central Committee of the Veterans Association supported 80 million VND.
