Hop Luc Medical College celebrates Vietnamese Teachers' Day and awards diplomas to students

On the afternoon of November 20, Hop Luc College of Medicine and Pharmacy celebrated the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025) and awarded graduation certificates to college students of the 2022-2025 school year. Attending the ceremony was Mr. Ta Hong Luu, Provincial Party Committee member, Acting Director of the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa province.

After 16 years of construction and development, Hop Luc College of Medicine and Pharmacy has trained nearly 10,000 students, provided nearly 10,000 medical staff and employees to the labor market, and actively contributed to people's health care.

Currently, the school has 132 lecturers, including more than 50 lecturers with postgraduate degrees, many of whom have achieved excellent teaching titles at the provincial and national levels.

Hop Luc College of Medicine and Pharmacy trains 9 majors in the health care sector; deploys a training model combined with practice at 2 modern medical facilities: Hop Luc General Hospital and Hop Luc International General Hospital.

In 2025, the school had 501 graduates in the Pharmacy and Nursing colleges. 100% of graduates achieved good, excellent, and excellent grades. The employment rate of students reached 96%, demonstrating the quality of training and the reputation of the school in the vocational education system.

Speaking at the ceremony, Acting Director of the Department of Education and Training Ta Hong Luu acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by Hop Luc College of Medicine and Pharmacy in recent times; commended the efforts of the staff and lecturers in performing the task of training medical human resources for the province and the region.

The Acting Director of the Department of Education and Training emphasized that the task of developing high-quality human resources is decisive for the province's goal of rapid and sustainable development. To continue improving the quality of training and meeting new requirements, he requested Hop Luc Medical College to continue to thoroughly grasp the policy of fundamental and comprehensive education innovation according to the resolutions of the Central and the province; take studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle as a driving force to promote emulation movements; effectively implement Resolution No. 71 of the Politburo on breakthroughs and development of education and training.

Schools need to increase the application of information technology in teaching and management; promote quality control; and enhance responsibility for the final result of employment for students after graduation.

Along with that, continue to strengthen facilities, modernize practice rooms; focus on building a team of teachers who are both professionally good and moral role models, inspiring students.

The Acting Director of the Department of Education and Training also expressed his trust and expectations to the students, hoping that they would strive to cultivate the qualities, ethics, knowledge, and mettle of the young generation; become useful people for society, and contribute to the development of Thanh Hoa.

At the ceremony, Hop Luc Joint Stock Corporation honored outstanding teachers; rewarded collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the 2024-2025 school year; honored 20 outstanding students in studying and training; and awarded scholarships to support students overcoming difficulties.

The school also awarded diplomas to new graduates of the 2022-2025 school year.
