At the Opening Ceremony, Distinguished Teacher, Associate Professor, Doctor Luong Minh Cu - Party Secretary, Principal of Cuu Long University warmly congratulated the new students who were admitted to the 2025 postgraduate level I specialized training course (phase 1).
“Cuu Long University has been authorized to train level I specialists in Nursing, Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy, and Medical Technology specializing in Laboratory Testing. In the past time, the University has focused on directing and effectively implementing programs, enrollment plans, enrollment procedures and organizing entrance exams in accordance with regulations. Based on the exam results and the results of the Admissions Council, 154 candidates were admitted to the level I postgraduate specialist program. The newly admitted students will be an important part of the university's academic community, those who carry knowledge, aspirations, and a high sense of responsibility for the cause of caring for and protecting people's health,” emphasized Distinguished Educator, Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Minh Cu.
The first round of the 2025 postgraduate level I training program of Cuu Long University has 154 students admitted in the following training majors: Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy (10 students); Nursing (100 students) and Medical Technology specializing in testing (44 students). Based on the results of the entrance exam, Cuu Long University has awarded 3 candidates with high scores in the exam.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Doctor CK 2 Nguyen Thanh Truyen, Director of Vinh Long General Hospital, congratulated the newly admitted students and congratulated Cuu Long University on successfully opening the Level I specialist training course. Vinh Long General Hospital was recognized as a Grade 1 hospital in November 2022, with a scale of 1,200 beds and a team of nearly 1,000 officers, doctors and employees. The quality of human resources is highly qualified, modern equipment meets the needs of medical examination and treatment, as well as training in the region. Vinh Long General Hospital is committed to always accompanying and closely linking with Cuu Long University in training human resources, especially training medical resources to serve Vinh Long province.
Also at the opening ceremony, new student Vo Thi Thien Hien expressed her sincere gratitude to the school's Board of Directors and leaders at all levels for trusting and opening up this valuable opportunity for students to continue studying and improving their professional qualifications.

Over 25 years of construction and development, Cuu Long University has trained and awarded degrees to more than 38,000 bachelors, engineers and more than 1,200 masters. According to statistics, the rate of students having jobs after graduation is 97%.
