Attending the ceremony were Mr. Tong Van Bang - Head of the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), Mr. Nguyen Minh Dung - Head of the Inspection Committee of the VGCL; Dr. Nguyen Anh Tho - Director of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Science; scientists from research institutes and universities in Hanoi .

On the TDTU side, there was the presence of Dr. Vu Anh Duc - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the University Council; Dr. Tran Trong Dao - Chairman of the Science and Training Council, Principal of the University, along with the presence of leaders of the University Council, TDTU Board of Directors, experts and scientists of the Institute of Advanced Technology (IT).

The Office of TDTU Advanced Technology Institute in Hanoi aims to carry out the functions and tasks of basic research, application deployment, technology transfer and training of highly qualified human resources in Hanoi in scientific fields such as Advanced Materials Chemistry, Smart Materials and Advanced Structures, Biophysics, Materials Mechanics, etc. to strengthen and expand cooperative relationships with universities and research institutes in Hanoi and neighboring provinces in the North.

After 27 years of establishment and development, this event marks a new step of development of TDTU in expanding cooperation opportunities and connecting with businesses, organizations, state agencies and the scientific community in the Northern region; Creating opportunities for scientists to participate in large-scale research projects, while developing and applying advanced scientific and technological achievements, contributing to promoting the sustainable development of the country.

Ton Duc Thang University currently has three high-quality research institutes, of which the Institute of Advanced Technology (IAST) has the functions of basic research, application development, technology transfer and training of highly qualified human resources, aiming to become a leading research center in basic science, an excellent scientific research center in Vietnam and the region, and an excellent doctoral training institute. The Institute hopes to actively contribute to the development of science and technology of the country, towards a sustainable and prosperous future.
