Building a modern digital learning environment
Over the past 3 years, Tra Vinh University (TVU) has achieved many outstanding achievements in the field of digital transformation. In addition to the specialized software currently in use, the school has built and deployed its own systems. Specifically: a system for managing official documents, assigning work to civil servants, and integrating the student dormitory management system into the shared system.
In addition, the system of human resource management, training, science and technology management, finance, assets and mobile applications is effectively applied. The school has implemented projects such as soft skills training management system and course evaluation system; focusing on building and developing E-learning lectures, helping to improve the quality of teaching and learning. Training programs on digital transformation knowledge are organized regularly, helping lecturers and students to grasp new technologies in a timely manner.
The digitalization of records, documents and document storage in cyberspace has been strongly implemented, especially the integration of digital signature function into the school system, which has contributed to limiting the use of paper as well as other benefits it brings. In addition, TVU has participated in the project "SOARing to Successful Digital Transformation in Vietnamese Universities", an initiative supported by the British Council through the Global Partnership Program. This project is a collaboration between TVU, Bournemouth University (UK), British University Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics , aiming to promote digital capacity in Vietnamese higher education. The project focuses on building a digital transformation framework and a self-assessment tool for the level of readiness for digital transformation in higher education.
The highlight of TVU's digital transformation process is the focus on developing high-quality education and building a modern digital learning environment. The school has established a network of connections with many domestic and foreign partners to continuously update and apply the latest technology solutions.
