Kindergarten 15.3: Effectively implementing "STEAM education solutions through experience in teaching children"

Kindergarten 15.3 (Ben Cau district) was established in 1991. The school currently has 35 staff, teachers, employees and 356 children (including 168 girls) with 4 grades/11 classes.

Implemented since September 2022, up to now, the solution "Application of STEAM teaching methods in exploiting open materials in children's activities" (abbreviated as "STEAMeducation solution The method of "through experience of teaching aids for children" of Kindergarten 15.3 is really effective and can be applied to kindergartens and preschools in and outside the district.

Children participate in activities with homemade games.

Accordingly, the school organizes for children to use natural waste materials (easy to find, easy to get and not expensive ) to create beautiful teaching products and toys for children.

In addition, school teachers organize STEAM activities that are integrated, combining many knowledge and fields ( science , technology, engineering, art and mathematics...) at the same time , helping children not only understand the principles , but also through the toys that children make with their teachers, making children love toys and "playing while learning". In addition to entertainment, toys also have a high educational effect, allowing children to learn, explore , develop their imagination and give them the opportunity to learn interactive skills in life.

Through applying this new solution and model, for many consecutive years, the school has achieved the achievement of being the leading unit in the emulation movement of the preschool sector of the district.
