In recent years, the Duc Hoa Commune Youth Union, Tay Ninh Province has implemented many volunteer movements bearing the mark of youth, contributing to the construction of new rural areas and spreading the spirit of beautiful living. Typical campaigns are the Summer Volunteer Youth Campaign, Spring Volunteer, Volunteer Saturday, Green Sunday,... attracting more than 1,200 union members and youth to participate. The model of the Compassionate Support Station of Duc Hoa Commune Youth Union in coordination with units and clubs
Not only creating an impression through numbers, volunteer activities also become a training environment, helping members to become more mature in thinking and action. Many young people develop a sense of responsibility, knowing how to share, love and dedicate themselves to the community. Through that, the image of Duc Hoa youth as dynamic, creative and compassionate is spread deeply and widely, contributing to affirming the vanguard role of youth.
Mr. Le Chanh Truc (Duc Hoa commune member) shared: “From the days of cleaning up trash, planting trees or bringing gifts to disadvantaged households with my brothers and sisters, I realized the value of living for the community. I feel more mature, more confident, appreciate life and want to contribute more to my hometown Duc Hoa. For me, it is not just an activity but a lesson in being a human being.”
Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the Duc Hoa Commune Youth Union Nguyen Minh Thuan said: “Through volunteer activities, we hope that each youth union member will learn how to live positively, know how to share and contribute. Each program is a practical lesson, helping young people to mature, become more confident and responsible for themselves and society. The Duc Hoa Commune Youth Union will continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, so that the volunteer movement truly becomes a training environment for young people.”
Practical activities
Operating for more than 2 years, Linh Nguyen Youth Club (Duc Hoa commune) is a "common home" of 377 members, a place to unite the youth spirit and spread many positive values to the community. The Club constantly spreads the spirit of volunteerism through many meaningful models such as the Caravan of Love, the Support Station of Love, the Vegetarian Shop of Love, 0 Dong Clothes,... bringing tens of thousands of bottles of water, meals and clothes to people in difficult circumstances.
The Club also coordinated to distribute water to localities affected by drought and salinity with more than 277,000 liters of domestic water, total value of more than 127 million VND; implemented many youth projects, environmental protection activities, took care of martyrs' cemeteries, planted trees, propagated drug prevention and control, supported exam season and organized 14 Mid-Autumn Festival programs for more than 5,500 children;...

From 2025 to present, the Club continues to maintain the above volunteer models, expand the Compassionate Support Station, the Zero-Dong Market, and the Roses on the Street, and coordinate with projects and pagodas in Tay Ninh, Dong Thap and Ho Chi Minh City to give thousands of gifts and scholarships to poor children and lonely elderly people.
In addition, members also actively participate in performing arts to welcome the Party Congress, Youth Union Congress, etc., contributing to affirming the image of young people who are dynamic, compassionate and responsible to society.
Ms. Dang Thai Phuong Anh (member of Linh Nguyen Youth Club) shared: “By joining the Club, I learned how to communicate, open up and connect with people of different ages and backgrounds; practice responsibility, teamwork skills and know how to share and love more. When encountering difficult situations, I realize how lucky I am and need to live a more positive and meaningful life every day...”.
Chairman of the Linh Nguyen Youth Club, Trieu Hoan Bao, said: “After more than 2 years of accompanying the Club, I have seen the members become more mature. From the initial days of confusion, now, you and we have become more confident and flexible in handling situations. The volunteer programs run smoothly, with clear plans, demonstrating a sense of responsibility and solidarity of the group. Although most of them are students, thanks to knowing how to arrange their time reasonably between studying and social activities, they have practiced time management skills, discipline and initiative in all work.”
Nguyen Ngoc Bao Lam, Permanent Vice President of the Linh Nguyen Youth Club, shared: “The most valuable thing we have received from this journey is maturity. Everyone knows how to appreciate the small contributions of others, overcome difficulties together, and maintain the spirit of sharing and love. For us, the Club is not only a place to practice skills but also a home to help nurture the soul, compassion and spirit of living for the community.”
Currently, in the province, there are many playgrounds and clubs for young people to demonstrate their dedication.
