Convey many important contents to guide the activities of the Vietnam Farmers' Union.

On March 22, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union held a national online conference to study, disseminate and implement Resolution No. 46-NQ/TW dated December 20, 2023 of the Politburo; Resolution of the National Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Farmers' Union (VIII term), term 2023 - 2028; Decision No. 182/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister... Attending were Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Delegation, Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union Luong Quoc Doan.

The conference was connected online to 63 provincial and municipal Farmers' Associations, 588 district-level bridges and 4,255 grassroots bridges with a total of 112,716 delegates attending at the bridges.

In his opening speech, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union Pham Tien Nam emphasized: The 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union was a great success. The Congress discussed and approved the Resolution and Congress documents.

In particular, before the Congress, on December 20, 2023, the Politburo issued Resolution No. 46-NQ/TW on innovating and improving the quality of activities of the Vietnam Farmers' Union to meet the requirements of revolutionary tasks in the new period. Implementing Resolution No. 46 of the Politburo, on February 20, 2024, the Prime Minister issued Decision 182-QD-TTg approving the Project "Vietnam Farmers' Union participates in collective economic development in agriculture until 2030".

These are extremely important contents to guide and direct the activities of the Association and the farmers' movement in the coming years. To concretize, the Executive Committee and the Central Standing Committee of the Association have focused on leading and directing the development and promulgation of the Action Program and the implementation plan of Resolution No. 46, Resolution of the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union; the entire working program of the Central Executive Committee of the Association for the 2023-2028 term; and the implementation plan of Decision 182 of the Prime Minister.

Therefore, the online conference to study, learn and disseminate the Resolution is extremely important for cadres, members, farmers, especially key cadres of the Association at all levels.

During the 1-day period, the Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union conveyed the contents related to Resolution No. 46, dated December 20, 2023 of the Politburo on "Innovation to improve the quality of activities of the Vietnam Farmers' Union to meet the requirements of revolutionary tasks in the new period"; Decision No. 182 of the Prime Minister; Resolution of the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term 2023-2023; Charter of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term VIII (amended and supplemented); key work program of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term VIII, term 2023-2028.

Directly implementing Resolution No. 46, dated December 20, 2023 of the Politburo, Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union Luong Quoc Doan said that in order for Resolution No. 46-NQ/TW to quickly come into life, the Central Executive Committee of the Union has issued documents to lead and direct the implementation throughout the Union system.

In 2024, the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union determined to implement 5 key tasks. These are: Strongly innovating methods of propaganda, mobilization, gathering, and uniting farmers; Mobilizing and supporting farmer members to actively participate in developing collective economy in agriculture; Building a set of evaluation indexes and organizing members and farmers to participate in evaluating the quality of services and input materials in agricultural production; Promoting support, dissemination, and expansion of the application of the Vietnamese Farmers App among farmer members./.
