VNA cooperates with Bac Kan province to promote information and propaganda work

At the working session, Secretary of Bac Kan Provincial Party Committee Hoang Duy Chinh gave a general information to the working delegation about the socio-economic development, national defense and security situation of the province; key tasks in leadership, direction and implementation in the current period, striving to complete the set goals for the entire term.

The Secretary of the Bac Kan Provincial Party Committee hopes to continue receiving the attention and cooperation of VNA in the work of information and propaganda on the political , socio-economic, defense, security, Party building, political system, etc. Bac Kan province is ready to cooperate with VNA in providing information; always creating the best conditions for reporters, including VNA's resident reporters in Bac Kan, to work.

VNA Director General Vu Viet Trang said that VNA has a widespread system of permanent offices in 63 provinces and cities nationwide and 30 permanent offices abroad located in all 5 continents. With more than 50 information products, VNA is currently a press agency with a full range of information types and products, meeting the diverse needs of its audiences.

Informing about some outstanding results and key tasks of VNA in recent times, General Director Vu Viet Trang hopes that the Party Committee and the government of Bac Kan province will continue to coordinate with VNA to promote propaganda work on local political, economic and social news; and at the same time, help VNA's permanent office in Bac Kan province complete assigned tasks.

On behalf of Vietnam News Agency, General Director Vu Viet Trang informed the Standing Committee of Bac Kan Provincial Party Committee about personnel work. Accordingly, the Vietnam News Agency Representative Office in Bac Kan has a new Branch Chief, Mr. Nguyen Cong Hai, former Branch Chief of Vietnam News Agency in Thai Binh province, replacing Mr. Nguyen Manh Ha (resigned from work).

At the meeting, VNA General Director Vu Viet Trang presented Bac Kan province with a photo of "President Ho Chi Minh visiting Bac Kan farmers (1950)", taken from the exclusive photo archive taken by VNA reporters. Bac Kan province also presented VNA with a photo of Ba Be Lake - a typical scenic spot of the province.
