The working group inspected plans and plans for mobilizing forces, means, command and information systems, logistics and technical support in preventing, combating and overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3. The working group assessed that the units had actively and proactively deployed storm prevention and combat measures, the barracks, warehouses, weapons and equipment were stably and firmly secured, the tree system was trimmed, the sewers were cleared, and the mobile teams ensured the number of troops and were ready to carry out the mission.

For ships anchored in shelter areas, Major General Tran Van Tho requested the commanders of Squadron 11 and Squadron 102 to direct forces on ships to prepare storm prevention plans, search and rescue plans, be ready to mobilize when situations arise, ensure safety, and minimize damage caused by storms.

The Commander of Coast Guard Region 1 also requested agencies and units to strictly maintain on-duty regimes, ensure smooth communication; proactively monitor and grasp the developments of the storm; continue to thoroughly grasp telegrams and instructions from superiors; organize reviews, adjustments, and supplements to plans; provide sufficient equipment and materials for storm and flood prevention and control, search and rescue, prepare forces and means to respond promptly and effectively when situations arise and ensure safety in all aspects.
