Vietnamese revolutionary journalism, inspired by Ho Chi Minh 's thoughts and practices in journalism activities, is closely linked to Marxism-Leninism and adapted to the country's context. Accordingly, President Ho Chi Minh is the founder of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism.

This is the comment of Director of the Cuban National News Agency (ACN), journalist Norland Rosendo González in an interview with VNA reporters in Havana, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

Mr. Norland Rosendo González assessed that in the struggle against colonialism and imperialism, Vietnam had a revolutionary press that served as a benchmark for legitimate causes around the world , with high professional ethics and professionalism.

With a solid ideological foundation and clear development strategy, the Vietnamese revolutionary press has grown and achieved many successes, making an important contribution to the construction of a prosperous socialist society.

According to the Director of ACN, the Vietnamese revolutionary press has demonstrated the "transcendent" role of the media in creating consensus, consolidating culture and recreating symbolic values as the foundation for its identity.

He emphasized the longevity of President Ho Chi Minh's journalistic ideological values. In addition to leaving the people and revolutionaries around the world a personal example, ideological leadership and a rich treasure of humanistic, philosophical and political values, President Ho Chi Minh left behind a large volume of works in the national press and in the international media.

His imprint, in thousands of articles since his youth, contributed to building the unity of revolutionary forces, defining common goals, communicating political ideas, coordinating efforts and predicting a beautiful future vision in which all Vietnamese people would have their own role.

Uncle Ho always had a deep understanding of the role of revolutionary journalism as a tool and platform for communicating ideas and strengthening ties with the people. His journalistic works were also distinguished by the beauty of his writing style, the elegance of his texts, and the connection between ideas and emotions.

In an era where traditional media coexists with digital platforms that are fundamentally founded on logic that emphasizes emotion over reason, President Ho Chi Minh’s legacy must be absorbed daily to maintain the connection between the depth of his ideas and the aesthetics of the ways in which he communicates them. Ho Chi Minh’s journalism should be studied not only in Vietnam but also in all journalism schools committed to practicing this professional revolution./.
