Consulting on the process of assisting children in special circumstances.

On the morning of April 9th, in Kien Xuong town (Kien Xuong district), the Center for Social Work and Social Protection (Thai Binh Department of Health) organized a conference to disseminate information about counseling and guidance on community-based assistance procedures and to provide instructions on admitting children with special circumstances to the Center.

At the conference, 130 members of the Women's Union of Kien Xuong town received basic knowledge about the role of social work in supporting children in special circumstances, especially vulnerable children. The content focused on the assistance process, skills in understanding children's psychology, appropriate education and interaction with children, nutrition to ensure physical development; and respecting children's privacy, especially when using their images on social media. From now until the beginning of May 2025, the Center will open 10 more training classes in various localities on this topic.

Through awareness campaigns, parents and caregivers of children with special circumstances gain improved awareness and skills in caring for and supporting these children, helping them to stabilize their lives and integrate into the community.
