Exciting National Solidarity Day in Cuor Kap village, Hoa Thang commune

On the morning of November 10, Hoa Thang commune (Buon Ma Thuot city) solemnly organized the National Great Unity Day to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's tradition day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2023).

Attending the festival were comrades: Tu Thai Giang, Secretary of Buon Ma Thuot City Party Committee; Thai Hong Ha, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Le Minh Thuoc, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Dak Lak Newspaper, along with representatives of leaders of departments, branches and a large number of people from Cuor Kap village, Hoa Thang commune.

Secretary of Buon Ma Thuot City Party Committee Tu Thai Giang presented gifts to people of Hoa Thang commune at the festival.

Buon Cuor Kap currently has 352 households with 1,739 people, of which ethnic minorities account for 2/3 of the population. Promoting the revolutionary tradition of their homeland, ethnic people in the villages and hamlets have had many practical activities in implementing patriotic emulation movements, actively participating in campaigns launched by the Party, State, Fatherland Front and locality. The whole village currently has 284 households achieving the title of cultural family, accounting for 89.3%.

Responding to the movement of the whole country joining hands to build new rural areas, receiving support from the people, Hoa Thang commune has now reached the new rural standard. The movement to encourage learning, encourage talents, and take care of people's health has achieved many positive results. Cultural traditions are preserved such as: gong playing, brocade weaving, and wine brewing...

The Commune People's Committee has also coordinated with relevant departments and branches to do a good job of disseminating the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws. Actively promoting the role of the people in building democratic regulations at the grassroots level; mobilizing people to participate in the movement of the whole people protecting national security, the movement of the whole people uniting to build a cultural life, etc.

Speaking at the Festival, Secretary of the Buon Ma Thuot City Party Committee Tu Thai Giang was excited and happy with the achievements that the ethnic people of Hoa Thang commune in general and Cuor Kap village in particular have achieved in the past time. The Secretary of the Buon Ma Thuot City Party Committee also hopes that in the coming time, the Party Committee, government and people of Hoa Thang commune will continue to promote the achievements, unite and make efforts to carry out political , economic and social tasks; well implement the Party's guidelines and the State's laws and policies, join hands to build a civilized and prosperous cultural life in the residential area.

On this occasion, Buon Ma Thuot city presented funds and gifts to poor households in Hoa Thang commune; the Party Committee and People's Committee of Hoa Thang commune presented health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances and commended households with many contributions to the new rural construction movement in the commune.

Also at the festival, the leaders and the ethnic people in Hoa Thang commune enjoyed rice wine and participated in some traditional cultural activities of the ethnic groups living in the area.
