Youth Union of Provincial Party agencies pay tribute to heroic martyrs

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 23, the Delegation of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee agencies in coordination with the Delegation of the No. 9 College of Tourism and Technology organized many activities to honor heroic martyrs.

At the Temple of Uncle Ho and the provincial heroes and martyrs, the delegation offered incense and commemorated the contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their blood and bones to protect the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Next, the members and young people went to burn incense at the Memorial House of General Vo Nguyen Giap in Le Thuy commune. Here, the members and young people learned about the background, life and career of the Commander-in-Chief of the Vietnam People's Army, the legendary general, both literary and martial of the nation.

Throughout the volunteer activities in July of gratitude, the Provincial Party Committee in coordination with the Youth Union of the College of Tourism - Technology No. 9 and the Party Committee and Youth Union of Ninh Chau commune organized cleaning and changing flowers at Duy Ninh Martyrs' Cemetery and Gia Ninh Martyrs' Cemetery (Ninh Chau commune). In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, the delegation laid wreaths and burned incense on the martyrs' graves, expressing their respect and eternal gratitude to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives so that today's country can be peaceful and unified.

On this occasion, the Ninh Chau Commune Party Committee and the union members and youths presented gifts and organized a “gratitude meal” at the home of veteran revolutionary Hoang Van Mung (99 years old), residing in Ninh Chau Commune. He is the father of martyr Hoang Van Hung and the brother of martyr Hoang Van Chap. He himself was honored to receive many orders and medals from the Party and the State in the resistance wars against France and the US, and the 75-year Party membership badge.

These meaningful activities show the gratitude of the young generation to the heroic martyrs and families of those who have contributed to the revolution; at the same time, contribute to educating and fostering ideals and national pride in each union member and youth.
