Lam Dong Youth Union carries out many community activities to celebrate the big festival

TPO – To welcome the 2024 Da Lat Flower Festival, Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union at all levels has deployed many activities such as environmental sanitation, urban beautification, erasing illegal advertising signs, planting new trees and taking care of them to create landscapes in urban and rural areas, etc.

On November 10, Bao Loc City Youth Union (Lam Dong) coordinated with Bao Loc Urban Construction Joint Stock Company to launch a general environmental cleaning campaign to welcome the 2024 Da Lat Flower Festival, associated with activities celebrating 30 years of construction and development of Bao Loc urban area.

The program attracted 500 youth union members and students in Bao Loc city to participate.

Ms. Nguyen Ha Thanh - Secretary of Bao Loc City Youth Union said that this is an important series of activities deployed to promote the volunteering role and enthusiasm of local youth in response to the peak emulation campaign "The Party, government, army and people of Lam Dong province unite, determined to overcome difficulties, rise up with the country".

After the launching ceremony, Bao Loc City Youth Union members cut grass, collected trash, and cleaned up the entire old Bao Loc market area with a total area of ​​more than 1.6 hectares.

At the same time, the Youth Union at all levels of Bao Loc City has carried out other meaningful tasks such as collecting household waste; urban beautification, removing illegal advertising signs; organizing new tree planting and care to create landscapes in urban and rural areas, etc.

As a result, the youth union members cleaned up and collected nearly 5 tons of waste; removed many environmental black spots along the train route from Da Lat Station to Trai Mat Station with a total length of nearly 7km.

Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union said that from November 1 to December 30, all levels of the Youth Union - Association - Pioneers in the province will regularly clean up and collect garbage; deploy models of "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful - Civilized - Safe" roads and neighborhoods,... contributing to welcoming the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2024.
