In commemoration of the 92nd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 / March 26, 2023), the Youth Union of the Clinical Institute of Infectious Diseases (108 Central Military Hospital) coordinated with the Blood Transfusion Department (108 Central Military Hospital) to organize a humanitarian blood donation program.
Speaking at the program, Colonel Nguyen Dang Manh, Director of the Institute of Clinical Infectious Diseases, 108 Central Military Hospital said: Donating blood is a humane act, each drop of blood donated by medical staff is a noble gesture, sharing responsibility with the community, helping patients in need of blood to overcome difficulties.
The voluntary blood donation program has attracted the attention of cadres, doctors, nurses, union members and youth in the unit. As a result, the program collected nearly 30 units of safe blood.

Launching the voluntary blood donation campaign "White Blouse - Pink Heart" in 2023
On February 27, on the occasion of Vietnam Doctors' Day (February 27), the Vietnam Medical Trade Union ( Ministry of Health ) organized the launching ceremony of the voluntary blood donation program "White Blouse - Pink Heart" in 2023 at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion. The launching ceremony attracted a large number of union members and workers in the health sector to participate in the response. Right at the launching ceremony, the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion received nearly 300 units of blood.
