In Vung Tau ward, the incense offering ceremony took place solemnly at the Martyrs' Memorial, Martyrs' Temple and the monument commemorating the battle at the Palace Hotel. More than 500 delegates including leaders, officials, armed forces, teachers, students and people of Vung Tau and Rach Dua wards attended, offered incense, laid wreaths, and commemorated the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation.

On the same day, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Son commune organized 10 delegations to visit and present gifts to 100 meritorious people in the area. At the places visited, the commune leaders expressed their deep gratitude to the wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and families of martyrs; at the same time, they hoped that the families would continue to promote the revolutionary tradition and be a shining example for the younger generation.

These practical activities demonstrate the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", contributing to educating the tradition of patriotism and the sense of responsibility in building and developing the locality.
