After the World Championship, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will enter the most important tournament of the year: SEA Games 33 in Thailand. This is the first time the Vietnam Volleyball Federation has assigned coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team the target of winning a gold medal.

In the second round of the SEA V-League, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team had a historic victory over Thailand (3-2), winning the championship.
