BHG - The Provincial Tax Department has just held a conference to honor the achievements of organizations and individuals who have complied well with tax policies and laws in 2023. Attending were comrade Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of a number of departments, branches, sectors and units in the province.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son emphasized: In 2023, the province's socio-economic development situation faced many difficulties and challenges due to epidemics and natural disasters, which strongly affected import, export, investment and consumption activities... However, with the spirit of accompanying businesses, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee focused on leading the timely implementation of policies on tax exemption, reduction and extension, and socio-economic development recovery of the Government . At the same time, strengthening the management of state budget revenue and expenditure to ensure strictness, thrift and efficiency. To achieve that result, the business community, entrepreneurs and taxpayers in the province have promoted the spirit of self-reliance, self-reliance, promoting creativity, overcoming difficulties to maintain and develop production and business, actively contributing to the state budget revenue.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that in the last months of 2024, the business community and enterprises continue to promote their bravery and intelligence in production and business, fulfill their responsibilities and tax obligations; share and accompany the government to complete the task of collecting the state budget. Tax authorities and departments and branches of the Finance - Planning Sector continue to seriously and effectively implement the action plan of the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Taxation on the task of socio-economic development and the 2024 budget estimate of the province. Carry out information and propaganda work well, create favorable conditions for taxpayers to fulfill their tax obligations; focus on guiding procedures related to exemption, reduction and extension policies according to regulations.

On behalf of the General Department of Taxation, the leaders of the Provincial Tax Department presented Certificates of Merit to individuals in Ha Giang province with achievements in complying with tax policies and laws in 2023.

The conference announced the commendation decisions for 89 organizations and individuals, including: Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee Chairman for 19 organizations and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing tax policies and laws in 2023; 2 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the General Department of Taxation; 35 organizations and 33 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Tax Department for their achievements in complying with tax policies and laws in 2023.
