During the 90 minutes of play, the two teams chased each other in an extremely exciting score. The match ended with a score of 4-4. The chance to compete for second place in this group is still divided equally between both teams.

Entering the match, U23 Myanmar put pressure on the opponent's goal. Right in the 13th minute, they scored the opening goal. Shine Wanna Aung's shot hit Farrugia's foot, causing the ball to change direction and leaving goalkeeper Lurio helpless.

However, U23 Timor Leste did not give up easily. They rose up strongly and created certain opportunities in front of U23 Myanmar's goal.

However, when the effort was not effective, U23 Timor Leste conceded the second goal. In the 36th minute, U23 Myanmar was awarded a penalty when Than Toe Aung was fouled by goalkeeper Lurio in the penalty area. On the 11m mark, Zaw Win Thein successfully converted, raising the score to 2-0.

In the 45+2 minute, Cannavaro took advantage of a mistake by the Myanmar U23 defense to score, narrowing the score to 1-2.

In the second half, U23 Timor Leste played very well. In the 52nd minute, they scored an equalizer to make it 2-2 after Figo's close-range header. However, in the 55th minute, Than Toe Aung helped U23 Myanmar take the lead 3-2 after a comfortable header in the penalty area from a free kick on the left wing.

Trailing by two goals, U23 Timor Leste pressed forward with nothing to lose. Finally, they made a miracle. In the 75th minute, Cannavaro made a powerful shot from 25m away, hitting the net of U23 Myanmar.

The drama was heightened when in the last minute of extra time, U23 Timor Leste equalized 4-4. A Myanmar player lost the ball, creating an opportunity for U23 Timor Leste to counterattack. Bakhito was there at the right time to receive the cross, finishing close to the goal, scoring against U23 Myanmar.

The match ended with a score of 4-4. In the next match, U23 Myanmar will be given a break. U23 Timor Leste will face U23 Thailand at 8:00 p.m. on July 19.
