Provincial People's Committee: Listening to the report on the implementation of the 500kV transmission line project through Thai Binh province

On the afternoon of November 16, comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting of the Provincial People's Committee to listen to the National Power Transmission Corporation and the Northern Power Project Management Board report on the implementation of the 500kV transmission line project of Nam Dinh 1 Thermal Power Plant - Pho Noi, the section passing through Thai Binh province.

The 500kV Nam Dinh 1 - Pho Noi Thermal Power Plant transmission line project, the section through Thai Binh province, will pass through 4 districts: Vu Thu, Dong Hung, Hung Ha, Quynh Phu. The project scale has 107 pole foundation locations, the route length is 38.34km, the land acquisition area for the pole foundation is 12.24ha. It is expected that the project will recover land from 505 households and 77 households whose houses are affected in the power grid safety corridor. Currently, the National Power Transmission Corporation and the Northern Power Project Management Board are conducting mapping work and coordinating with the province in site clearance work.

At the meeting, departments, 4 districts and representatives of the National Power Transmission Corporation and the Northern Power Project Management Board discussed solutions to implement the project. Especially, removing difficulties in surveying and mapping, and coordinating between parties in site clearance for project implementation.

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assessed that the project is important in contributing to the development and completion of the power grid system, meeting the electricity demand for the country's development. He requested the National Power Transmission Corporation to actively coordinate with departments, branches, and districts where the project passes through in site clearance work along the entire route. In the process of implementing the measurement, inventory, and site clearance plans, it is necessary to follow the correct procedures and regulations. The districts create conditions for investors and construction units to extract, measure, and carry out site clearance well, compensate households affected by the project, and access the column foundation locations to implement the project according to the set plan. Carry out well the propaganda work, mobilize people to agree, and hand over the site for construction. At the same time, provide guidance on compensation for households affected by the project... Do a good job of resettlement for households in the project area.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that this is a national key project. During the project implementation process, if any difficulties or problems arise, they must be promptly reported to the Provincial People's Committee for resolution.
