The Provincial People's Committee discussed the contents to be submitted to the Provincial People's Council's Year-End Meeting.

On the morning of November 18, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to discuss the contents to be submitted to the regular session at the end of 2024, the 19th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026 and other contents under its authority.

Comrade Truong Quoc Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were representatives of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council; Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council Committees, the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee Office; heads of relevant agencies; Chairmen of the People's Committees of districts, towns, cities, etc.

The meeting focused on discussing and giving opinions on reports, groups of submissions and draft resolutions expected to be submitted to the Provincial People's Council at the regular session at the end of 2024 related to: Results of implementing socio-economic development tasks in 2024, directions and tasks for socio-economic development in 2025; Public investment plan in 2025; on extending the time for arranging capital for project implementation; groups of submissions and draft resolutions on approving policies for public investment projects; approving the list of land plots for bidding for investment projects using land; list of works and projects requiring land recovery, projects requiring change of purpose of use of rice-growing land, special-use forest land, protective forest land, production forest land in 2025 in Ha Nam province.

Based on the analysis and discussion of delegates at the meeting, concluding the contents related to socio-economic development in 2024 and 2025, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Quoc Huy requested localities and sectors to resolutely focus on site clearance for public investment projects, traffic intersections, belt roads, and industrial parks and clusters in the remaining months of 2024; focus on completing documents to report to the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Council Committees for review.

The Department of Planning and Investment and the Department of Finance adjusted the medium-term public investment plan and budget collection according to the actual situation. Localities focused on moving odd graves along the 5th Ring Road, next to Doi Mountain and the east of the highway, creating an important driving force for Ha Nam to effectively implement public investment projects, promoting socio-economic development. At the same time, speed up the progress of public investment projects and regional connectivity.

Urgently disburse public investment capital for projects. The Department of Planning and Investment completes the contents of the sector, carefully reviews the project list documents for bidding preparation based on a thorough review of relevant provincial People's Council resolutions to ensure accuracy and completeness. Regarding public investment projects, it is recommended that relevant departments and sectors meet with the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee to promptly complete the procedures for submission to the People's Council at the next session...
