The Provincial People's Committee requested to inspect and handle the construction of fences at Nam Trach sand hill.

Regarding the fact that Gosimco Management Capital Company Limited erected bamboo poles and stretched ropes to prevent all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) of organizations and individuals from doing business at Nam Trach sand hill, on the afternoon of July 16, the Provincial People's Committee issued a document requesting inspection and handling of the implementation of the project to temporarily exploit sand sliding experience services in Nam Trach commune.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committee of Nam Trach commune and related units to urgently inspect and determine boundary markers, land handover scope, boundary demarcation methods, land use in accordance with assigned purposes, and relevant legal regulations; at the same time, strictly handle violations of organizations and individuals (if any).

Nam Trach Commune People's Committee urgently inspects and works with relevant organizations and individuals to stabilize the situation; coordinates with relevant agencies to resolutely handle cases of spontaneous business activities that do not comply with legal regulations; monitors Gosimco Management Capital Company Limited during the implementation of the project to temporarily exploit sand sliding experience services. If this company does not properly implement the contents of the project and violates the law on land, environment, and business, it will handle it according to its authority or promptly report to the competent authority for handling.

The document also requires the police force to coordinate with local authorities to ensure security and order in the area; resolutely handle organizations and individuals operating without ensuring conditions according to the provisions of law, providing false information, affecting tourism security in particular and the tourism image of the province in general; units and localities report the results of the incident no later than July 17, 2025.

After the incident, local authorities requested Gosimco Management Capital Company Limited to dismantle this fence.
