At the workshop, experts discussed one of the most important technological trends today: the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the construction and operation of smart cities.
In the context of the ongoing Fourth Industrial Revolution, the application of AI technologies to urban planning, management, and development is not only an inevitable trend but also a key factor in creating differentiation, improving the quality of life, and enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese cities.
Associate Professor Thoai Nam, Director of the Center for Computing Technology (Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology), assessed that the role of real estate in smart cities is evaluated through the quality of life.
The economic impact of real estate in smart cities will attract investment in high-tech industries and green businesses, making smart cities centers of innovation and economic growth.

According to Associate Professor Thoai Nam, the application of artificial intelligence becomes meaningless without data.
Therefore, it is necessary to build data infrastructure from the ward, commune, and departmental levels to form a provincial-level data infrastructure.
Subsequently, AI applications are used in data mining; building databases based on data standards; and ensuring consistency from database management and exploitation to policy management, security, and sharing.

Meanwhile, Mr. Tran Chi Hieu, Director of the AI Center under the Vietnam Blockchain Association, shared insights on the application of AI in real estate.
According to him, using AI in sales will help sales teams create short, quick, and emotionally engaging videos to retain customers. Simultaneously, AI can be used to build personal brands for salespeople, create tools for comparing projects and suggesting products, and automate content creation and customer service processes.
