On the afternoon of October 1, information from Thanh Oai General Hospital ( Hanoi ) said that the health of 13 students of Binh Minh Secondary School suspected of food poisoning after drinking bottled soft drinks distributed for free at the school gate has stabilized.
Previously, on the evening of September 30, the Emergency Room of Thanh Oai District General Hospital admitted 13 students from Binh Minh Secondary School with suspected food poisoning.
According to the story, some children were given free bottled soft drinks outside the school gate. After drinking, they experienced headaches, dizziness, and nausea, so they were taken to Thanh Oai General Hospital for emergency treatment, suspected of food poisoning.
Doctors placed a tube and performed emergency gastric lavage, rehydrated and rebalanced electrolytes, and increased the elimination of toxins for the students.
As of 10am this morning, the children's health has stabilized and they are being monitored and treated.
According to initial information, the origin, brand, ingredients, and distributor of the soft drinks the children drank have not yet been determined.
