Becamex Ho Chi Minh City FC returned home to host Hanoi Police FC (CAHN) with optimism after their opening match, winning 3-0 at Hoang Anh Gia Lai FC. But reality was not as dreamy as the police team proved to be too strong.

After nearly a minute of requesting, Mr. Luis Viegas returned to his position so that referee Le Vu Linh could issue a yellow card. As an assistant, he received 1 red card and 5 yellow cards last season, more than any other player. That is an unacceptable lack of professionalism.

The victory over Becamex TP.HCM helped CAHN Club rise to second place in the table with 4 points after 2 matches, 2 points behind the rookie Ninh Binh, who is leading the tournament. This promises to make the championship race even more exciting in the upcoming rounds.
