Multiple collisions cause traffic jam on Highway 1 - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television

- A series of collisions involving 8 cars on National Highway 1 through Van Thuy commune, Chi Lang district caused a long traffic jam.

At around 2:00 p.m. on May 21, at Km32+200 on National Highway 1, in Van Thuy Commune, Chi Lang District, a series of collisions occurred between 8 cars. The initial cause was determined to be that the drivers did not keep a safe distance as prescribed.

The accident did not cause any casualties but caused traffic congestion on the highway, with vehicles backed up for nearly 7km.

Immediately after receiving the information, the provincial traffic police force quickly arrived at the scene, organized traffic flow, regulated traffic in one direction and coordinated with relevant units to tow damaged vehicles to clear the congestion. By 7:30 p.m., traffic on National Highway 1 through Van Thuy Commune, Chi Lang District was flowing smoothly.

After many hours of traffic jam, traffic is flowing smoothly.
