Thanh Ha white eggplant litchi is ordered at 100,000 VND/kg

Many customers have ordered white egg-shaped lychee in Thanh Ha (Hai Duong) at the price of 100,000 VND/kg - the highest price among lychees in this locality.

Currently, in Thanh Ha, some households have harvested white egg lychee. Communes recommend that people harvest lychee when it is ripe enough to ensure the highest quality. White egg lychee will be harvested at the right time next week.

Because this lychee variety does not have much yield and is harvested the earliest, the selling price is always high every year. Many households with white egg lychees said that many regular customers have pre-ordered at 100,000 VND/kg, about 40,000 VND/kg higher than the main crop lychee.

White egg lychee has a fragrant taste, thick flesh, large, juicy fruit. This type of lychee does not have a large yield like pink u, gai u, tau lai lychee and main crop lychee.

White eggplant will be ready for harvest in about a week but has been pre-ordered.

Thanh Ha district currently has 3,285 hectares of lychee, of which about 1,900 hectares are early lychee grown concentrated in Ha Dong area. This year, due to the influence of prolonged cold weather, the lychee harvest was about 10 days late.

Thanh Ha lychee output is expected to reach about 35,000 tons. Currently, lychee garden owners as well as agricultural cooperatives have proactively joined forces to consume lychee. Many businesses have signed contracts to purchase large quantities of lychee.
