Mobilizing support for the "For the Poor" Fund over 144 billion VND

Since the beginning of the year, the whole province has mobilized and received support for the “For the Poor” Fund of over 144 billion VND. The “For the Poor” Fund Mobilization Committee at all levels has managed and used the support resources for the right purposes and objects, creating resources to support the poor, contributing to the effective implementation of social security work.

Vietnam Gas Corporation coordinated with the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to hand over Great Solidarity houses to poor and near-poor households facing housing difficulties in the province.

Of which, the Ministry of Public Security supported 131 billion VND; Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province 5 billion VND; Cao Bang Telecommunications 1.2 billion VND; Military Bank MB 1 billion VND; Provincial Branch of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development 100 million VND; Minh Duc Construction Group 200 million VND; 568 Construction Group Joint Stock Company supported 360 million VND; Dong Nai Province Fund for the Poor 500 million VND; agencies, units, businesses, individuals and philanthropists supported more than 2.1 billion VND...

From the Fund, localities in the province donated 44,281 Tet gifts, with a budget of over VND 23,994 million to poor households, near-poor households, policy families, meritorious people, families with sudden difficulties and poor students...; allocated over VND 139 billion to support the repair and construction of 2,697 houses for poor and near-poor households; supported 67 households whose land was recovered to implement the Dong Dang (Lang Son) - Tra Linh ( Cao Bang ) expressway construction investment project with an amount of over VND 2.6 billion...

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province coordinated with the Lam Hong Business Club of Gia Lai province to start the construction of 2 great solidarity houses in Ha Quang commune, with a cost of 120 million VND; donated 25 bicycles to poor students who have overcome difficulties at Na Giang Secondary and Primary Schools, Dao Ngan Primary Schools, worth 37.5 million VND. Coordinated with the Lao Dong Newspaper to inaugurate and present 20 houses in the program "Towards the Beloved North" in Khanh Xuan commune, and presented gifts to 20 households to buy essential production and living equipment, each household received 20 million VND.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels mobilized and connected with organizations and individuals to support and assist poor households, near-poor households, and poor students to overcome difficulties with over 600 million VND. The relief fund to support households whose houses were completely burned down, relatives who drowned, and families in especially difficult circumstances was 56 million VND.
